At FileXConvert, we respect your privacy. We process files only for the purpose of conversion and do not store, share, or analyze your data beyond what is necessary to complete the requested operation. Your files are handled securely and deleted automatically after conversion.

1. File Processing

• Uploaded files are processed temporarily in secure memory or temporary storage on our backend servers.
• Files are deleted automatically once the conversion or download is complete.
• We do not permanently store, index, or back up your uploaded or converted files.
• The application does not read or analyze your file contents for analytics, advertising, or machine learning purposes.

2. Logs & Diagnostics

Our backend maintains minimal operational logs (timestamps, status codes, and technical errors) for debugging and performance monitoring. These logs do not contain your file contents and are automatically rotated and deleted after a short retention period.

3. Cookies & Ads

FileXConvert uses Google AdSense to display ads. Google may use cookies to personalize content and measure ad performance. For information about how Google collects and processes data, visit Google’s Advertising Policy.

You may see a small cookie consent banner if you are in the EU or other regions requiring consent for personalized advertising.

4. Security

• All uploads and downloads are encrypted using HTTPS to protect your data in transit.
• Backend access is secured and monitored using Google Cloud credentials and IAM permissions.
• Temporary files are stored in isolated containers with automatic cleanup.

5. Retention Policy

Temporary files are automatically deleted immediately after conversion. Operational logs are retained for a limited duration (typically 30 days) and contain no user file data.
